Need help from Milan experts for our older parents...

Hi everyone, my parents are flying into Milan where later in the day they will be taking a train to the Cinque Terre to meet me and hubby. They have scheduled their "quick" 15 minute visit to The Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie before catching the train to CT. Does anyone know of a hotel or place where they could store their luggage for a few hours? Much thanks in advance for any help with this.

Don't know of a hotel, but I thought Milan train station is pretty wild, and I have dealt with several of them in Europe. There was a lot of construction there last Sept. anyway.... Might want to prepare them for this.

There is an airport style baggage check at the Milan Centrale train station. This is probably their best move because they will have to get to the train station to catch the train to the CT and because hotels probably won't store their luggage if they are not staying at the hotel. If they're landing at the Malpensa airport (Milan has two airports), they should take the shuttle bus for the one-hour trip to the Centrale train station. They should not catch the Malpensa Express train because that will take them to a different station (Cadorna). After seeing the Last Supper, they will return to the Centrale train station to catch their train to the CT and can pick up the baggage then.
