Can anyone tell me if bus #49, which leaves from Piazza Cavour in Rome, runs in the late afternoon until c. 11 pm or so? I need to know asap. Leaving tomorrow!!!

The #49 is supposed to run until midnight... I ride it often... but have never been on it after 11 PM.

We found that although we didn't know a lot about the buses, we realized that when you see a bus stop, there is typically a sign with posted buses that stop there along with the routes that they will go. This allows you to get on the right bus and end up where you want to go OR at least get to a metro station that's even quicker. We loved the Metro and it's so easy and typically will be close to the major attractions in Rome.
