I am planning a trip to Italy next summer. I will be travelling with my husband and 10 year old son, and possibly an elderly parent with mobility issues. Are there all inclusive tours that cater to families with grandparents and children? I am hoping for a tour where they make arrangements for the hotels, some meals, transport, and sightseeing. Thank you for your advice.
RS My Way tours might work for you

What type of mobility issues? Much of Italy has cobblestone and lots of stairs.
Are you wanting to stay with Rick Steves? I'm not sure what the age limit is on the MY WAY tours.
There are companies that offer FAMILY tours. But tours are LOTS of walking.
The mobility issues will be the biggest challenge. If it’s just the four of you, renting a car and staying in fewer locations might be better. Even tours encompass a lot of walking.
Look into the Road Scholar multi-generational trips, They are specifically designed for family trips with 3 generations—grandparents, parents, and grandchildren.

Tauck (our favorite tour company) also has TAUCK BRIDGES, which is for families.
They are high-end company, so not cheap, but you will see and experience Italy and be taken very good care of.
It is worth every penny if you can afford it.
My only question is, what type of mobility issues? The mobility issues can be VERY tough in Europe.
