Need help booking Coliseum tour through Coop Culture

I'd like to book a Coliseum tour through their official site - Coop Culture, but am finding the site very confusing to use! Can anyone offer advice on how to book a guided tour through them? It sounds like I need to call them directly to book the tour guides. Would love any guidance and advice from those of you who have successfully used them!

Also, which of the two guided tours is best - the Underground tour or the Belvedere, and is it possible to book both tours in the same day?

Thank you for any advice you can offer. I'n not even clear on how to see if there are tours available on the date we want (Sept 5).

verojohns, the Belevedere level has been closed for repairs since April so they are not currently selling any tours for that one. Sept. tours of the underground/third tier went on sale months ago so sorry, you're out of luck there unless you book a tour with a private company such as Walks of Italy, The Roman Guy or some others.

Coopculture tours are in very high demand because of their economical price: they did the release of underground/third-tier tours for November and December on August 5th.

There ARE tickets left for coopculture 45-minute guided tours of the Colosseum (not the underground or 3rd tier) in English on Sept 5th. These are very economically priced and include non-guided entrance to the Forum/Palatine as well after your visit to the Colosseum.

Personally, I wouldn't fret much about missing the underground as you can see down into it from the level that the 45-minute tour will cover, and will be given the same information about it.

You can book directly online. when you book, you need to choose to either print out your tickets via an email they will send you or pick them up when you go there that day. (Check your spam folder if you don't get email). If you have kids under 18 (they are free for entry- but still must pay tour and reservation) you can't print it out, since they will need to verify with ID that they are the age appropriate for the free entry ticket.
We did the 3 hour tour though the coop (includes colosseum, forum and palatine hill). It looks like there are still 5 spots available for Sept 5.

We picked up our tickets since we had kids that day. If you do that you go opposite the entrance and show ID and confirmation email to pick up tickets. Then they send you to the middle of the 3 lines to get into the Colosseum. You wait in a specific spot inside for tour to start.

Yep, there are 5 tickets available right now for the 3-hour Colosseum/Palatine/Forum tour but as with the 45-minute Colosseum tour, it doesn't include the underground or (currently closed) Belvedere. That's a good choice, though, as the Forum/Palatine are especially complex sites that benefit from a human guide. Jump on 'em if you have the time/interest for this tour and see these posts in time to land spots!
