Need another B&B in Rome

I have to make new reservation for my stay in Rome.It is now 2 nights 21 and 22 of September.I see alot of places full. Want a room with breakfast near the Colisium area or close to that area. I have been scanning TripAdvisor and some have horrible reviews.Nice ones booked!! Help

What's your price range in dollars or euros? That will help people suggest places. Happy travels.

I would like something less than 150 dollars if possible.I would like a B&B not a 5 star hotel. Thank you

Last September we stayed at Downtown Accomodation, located on Via Cavour. It is down the street from the Colosseum. We paid 70 euros per night. It was no frills, but clean with an ensuite bath. Ask for a room in the back so you aren't on the busy street.

Well Andrea this year the exact same B&B is 115Euro. Wow that is some increase but I see that it is reasonable compared to others in and around the area. Thanks

We used B & B Association of Rome to find a B & B near the Vatican for 90 Euro. The link is: http://www.b-b.rm.it/ You can search for rooms near the Colosseum! Good luck!

Did you contact Downtown Accomodation directly? When I was looking for a place I emailed them and asked them what their best price was. You can look at Expedia and Venere too. I've never tried this in Europe, but I have gotten incredible deals in the U.S. using the Priceline 'Name Your Own Price' option. If you put in the area you want with a high star level you might find a nice place for a really good price. Even if it doesn't come with breakfast, you can always get something to eat!

Try looking on venere.com for room accommodations. It is like the European version of Expedia for rooms. We have used it many times and have always been satisfied. It will provide choices, pricing, map locations, and client reviews. Buon viaggio,

Haven't looked up Rome on this website but found two great spots to stay in May when I was visiting London. www.airbnb.com. You might also check to see if this place is available; Pantheon View Bed and Breakfast. Good luck. Enjoy your stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Iltalia Roma in June. Excellent staff, nice breakfast and very convenient-maybe 15 minutes to the Coliseum and about the same to Termini, plus a nice 10-15 minute walk to Trevi for gelato each night. We paid about E120 + 10 for A/C. I would stay there again, without hesitation. Hope I get the chance!

My husband and I stayed at the Althea Inn in May. It was, without a doubt, one of the best places we have ever stayed. We would stay there again without hesitation. It's clean, lovely, and the owner will take very good care of you. http://www.altheainn.com/location.english.html

My Guest Roma, while not near, really easy to get to by public transportation. Really reasonable, and a fantastic host.
