Need Agriturismo for Siena with Pool & Cooking Lessons..Winery a plus!

This is my second post here. I am learning about the various agriturismos in tuscany. I have been searching the net for over 3 hours...and I need help! I would like a place that has a restaurant and offers food not non-catering. We would love to have a pool and take a cooking class. A plus would be if there was a wine cellar we could tour on the property or local vineyard (or nearby). I really would like your advice on places in Siena or very close by. We hope to attend Palio so want to be close. Thank you so much for your help:)

That is so funny you recc. this place. This is the only place I have found that suites all my needs! It was recc. by a man names Franco who does wine tours in this area. I am waiting to hear back from them. Just wanted to see what else was out there. It seems alot of places are non-catering or are too far. thanks!

I have booked the Agriturismo Marciano which is 4 km from Siena for our upcoming trip in September. It's an active vineyard and they offer breakfast and dinner service for guests. I believe that they have a wine cellar (saw pictures of one on their web site) but I don't know if there is a pool or if they offer cooking classes. The rates were great & their communication via e-mail was very prompt and responsive. The reviews on tripadvisor.com were all excellent. Their web site is www.agriturismomarciano.it if you're interested. I'm sure you could e-mail them about the pool & cooking class questions & I'm sure you will receive a timely reply. Happy travels.

Hi again Stephanie. I just read some of the tripadvisor reviews of Agrit. Marciano and it does not have a pool.

It was a nice place. Beautiful views and great hosts. I think that their cooking class requires a certain # of people and you will need to ask them about it way in advance. I asked about it while we there and was told that it needed some planning to do it, but it sure didn't ruin my stay. The rooms were big, they have 2 washing machines for your dirty clothes, and a tasting room.

PM me with your email and I send you a few pics.
