need a simple room in cinque terra for may 16-19 or 20th

I was in Riomaggiore one week ago. Seem like they have rooms available for those days. There are three or most room rental service offices by the main street. I talk to some guys outside Edi rooms rental service. He said that it cost 70E for a room. I got mine from MAR-MAR Rooms, 80E for a apartment. I booked in January. Go to Riomaggiore, you should be able to find something. Vernazza will be harder and more costlier.

Thanks so much i think i will be taking an early train from milan to CT i am checking into that now. i suppose it would be from milan to vernazza i am not seeing a stop for any of the other palces

Riomaggiore is the first town IF you come from the South (La Spezia). The five town counting from the south to north, will be Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso. But you are coming from NORTH to SOUTH. ( Genoa) Vernazza will be the second town.
Riomaggiore will be the last town.

Since you are coming from Milan. You are coming from the North to South. You have many stops, Genoa, Santa Margherita Ligure, Levanto before you get to Monterosso. The first town of the five from North to South. Be aware that some of the train do not stop all five towns (CT), but likely they will stop Riomaggiore and Monterosso.
