We are flying out of Pisa back to the states very early in the morning. Do you have any suggestions for nearby hotels with easy transportation to the Pisa airport?

Check out www.tripadvisor.com and inquire "Pisa Hotels." You might also put "Pisa B & B" in the subject line. They have several choices that have been posted by recent travelers.

The Pisa train station is only a couple of miles from the airport. Stay near the train station and you can take a train to the airport in the morning; it's only about 5 minutes and runs frequently.

We are flying into Pisa and staying one night this weekend and have the same needs. We booked a room at Hotel Milan. If you haven't booked a room yet, let us know and well let you know now it is.

We stayed at Hotel Bologna this June and it was very nice and professional. My daughter needed to be at the airport at 5:00am and I'd read there is no bus service then and taxis are hard to get. They have their own shuttle and it's not the best bargain but I was 100% confident that I'd get to the airport. They have a nice breakfast buffet but as we were too early they gave us small to-go bags. The location is only a few minutes walk from the train station, near the river and a 20 minute walk to the tower.
