Navigating FCO Airport in Rome

We are flying into terminal 4 at MCO in Rome. From there we have to get to the Centarauro car rental. It appears the rentals are far enough away to require some mode of transportation other than walking. Any recommendations?
When we turn the car back in we need to get to Termini Station. It looks like the train is the best bet but once again it doesn't look like the train station is very close. Recommendations?

I would contact the rental car agency and ask if they have a shuttle from the airport. Most airports operate a rental car center, it may be at the terminal, or they operate a desk at the airport and have the rental lots out on the outskirts. Sometimes the shuttles are operated by the agency, sometimes, if the lots are all together, it is a common shuttle.
If your agency is "off Premise" meaning no desk or shuttle at the airport, then a taxi is the only option, it looks like it is not a walk you want to take.

Returning, same as getting there. If they have a shuttle, then there should be a drop off that offers moderate walking, if not a taxi. The train station is easily reached from the terminals.

To get from the Airport Station to Termini, buy a ticket on the Leonardo Express, that will cost 14 euro per person, make sure you validate your ticket. If you take a Taxi from the Airport, that would cost 48 euro. I can not say for certain that the cost would be the same from an "off-airport" location, like the rental car office, that may not be under the "flat rate" scheme. There are other options from the airport like shuttles and buses, go on the FCO website, they detail all.

FCO doesn’t have a Terminal 4. From the Centauro website:

Once you have collected your luggage, make your way to departures on the upper level. If you arrive at Terminal 1 go upstairs to arrivals and then come out of the building, turn right and make your way to Terminal 3. Please wait for the Centauro Rent a Car shuttle bus in front of Exit/Uscita 1 of Terminal 3 on the departures level
