Can anyone help with a small group tour recommendation for the National Archaeological Museum of Naples? Viator has one but at $150 per person that is out of my budget. Thanks
How about just downloading Rick's free audio tour so you can move at your own pace?

I used the audio tour from the Rick Steves app and thought it fine for touring the museum and learning about the collection. Listen to it before committing to a paid guide and see if it fills your needs. There’s also a tour of the museum in his guide book as well as a recommendation for a private guide.
Thank you Philip and Kathy. We tried to use the Rick Steves audio but found it hard to follow as the museum is so large. Could be my ADD, lol.
It's actually easy to do by yourself. Things are laid out in an orderly, rational way. I would get the audioguide or use the RS audio tour.
So it sounds like this isn't your first visit to museum? You tried to use the RS audio last time?
If you don't get a recommendation for a suitable tour, you might consider a softcover guidebook from the museum's bookshop? My guess is that they have them available in multiple languages. I like to go this route as they make great reference materials when we get home as well as during the visit; our Pompeii, Louvre, Borghese, Uffizi, Westminster Abbey, etc, etc. books have been referenced to death!
LOL, my suitcase is much heavier flying back across the pond than it is going over!
I hope you get a recommendation for an actual tour guide as i’d like one too.
