Hello,
We are at the end of planning our 3 week trip to Naples and Almafi coast.
Thank you to everyone that has helped along the way.
We left Naples to last.
We will be there 3 night mid December and prefer not to stay in hotel but we're thinking of it this time simply for safety reasons.
Can anyone recommend the safest neighborhood to stay in?
Also if anyone has been to the cameo factory on the way from Naples to Sorrento?

You might have a look at Hotel Chiaia, as it's located in a nice area (in the same building as an Embassy as I recall). Hopefully it won't be too hard to get a booking in mid-December.

B & B 46 Orsini is a place recommended to me by members of this forum, and it was great!

They are in a very old building with a lift in the Santa Lucia neighborhood, near the waterfront. Gabrielle and his wife are very helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and meals.
We walked or took the subway all over from there.

Hi, we stayed in an apartment on Toledo street that (we thought) was perfectly situated. Toledo is a pedestrian only street for part of the way, there was lots going on all along the street. The people at the apartment were super nice, and treated our stay like a B&B- coffee when we arrived, homemade pastries in the morning. We were in Naples with our kids, and walked everywhere- Naples was really a great surprise and a highlight of our trip. Message me if you'd like more info on where we stayed.
