Need info on shared or private shuttle services for 2 people between Naples Airport and a hotel in Sorrento. I seem to recall that R. Steves had recommended a particular shuttle or private car company for that transit. Who are they?

David, Unless you are arriving after 7:30 pm, the bus service from the Naples airport to Sorrento is very comfortable, air conditioned, and 10 euros per passenger. Website www.gesac.it for the schedule. When we took it we arrived at the train station, just a couple of blocks from the old village area. I think they may alternately arrive at Piazza Tasso. From either you can catch a bus or taxi or walk to your hotel. It is a very pedestrian friendly place. Alternately, you can hire a driver to meet you (picking up a taxi can be even more $$$). Check with your hotel to see if they have an arrangement with a particular service. It usually runs between 100-160 euros for the transfer.
