We are flying into Naples and would like to know the best way to get to Sorrento...train, ferry, hydrofoil, bus, or rental car? If the ferry/hydrofoil is the best way to go, is it difficult to get from the aiport to the port(boats)?
Someone told us that Naples is going through a rough period right now with lots of crime, any truth?

I always just take the bus to the train station and the train to Sorrento.
