Naples to sorrento

We are visiting Sorrento via Naples airport 11 May 2017......any recommendations of ferry crossings to take? I've looked on the web and appears to be no "slow "ferries that you can stand out on the deck and admire the view of the coast as you travel. Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks

They have so many boats going there. I doubt that all of them are on website. We went by boat from Naples to Sorrento late in September and it was not on web. We simply took a taxi from our hotel to the Harbor and found our boat on the display. It goes quite often. And we could be on the deck, too.

Keep in my mind that weather will cancel ferries do to high seas. This happens quite frequently.

Since you're flying in, it makes more sense to take the Curreri Viaggi bus from the airport directly to Sorrento. 10 Euro

Depending on the time of day, you could taxi (30 min. 22 E fixed fare) to the ferry dock The problem is you will be transferring your luggage 3-4 times. It's best to get to your lodging, drop your bags and plan all your ferry rides from Sorrento.

I agree with the bus directly to Sorrento...or a taxi to Naples porto and go to one of the islands for the day!
Enjoy!

Alilauro was the one I took. There is a bus from the airport to the dock and it is very easy. They have a Facebook page where they post the conditions every day and whether the rides are "regular". I loved arriving in Sorrento by boat!

Why fly in, take a bus to port for a ferry? Lot's of changes with jet lag and luggage..I suggest the bus from the airport, get some water and a snack at the airport to take with you...you will probably be taking MANY ferries from Sorrento to other places so it will not be like you are missing something! :) Slow ferries bring cargo, cars etc. there is no need since Sorrento is accessible by truck...you can take larger ( slower and less cost) ferries to islands...enjoy!
