Will be coming in to Naples from Capri via high speed ferry in the AM. Plan to rent a car to drive to orvieto. From the ferry dock, what area of Naples is going to be the best place(most efficient to get us on the road) to rent a car and suggestions for fastest route between dock and car rental. Would like to get to rental car as speedily as possible and want to keep in mind any ZTL zones in/around Naples as we head north out of Naples. Thank you

I think Hertz has an office right at the port where you arrive. Both Hertz and Europcar have offices near the station and at airport.
The station is very close to the dock too.
It time is of the essence it is actually faster to go by train. You can go from Naples to Orvieto in less than 2h 50min (even with a train change in Rome, although there are a couple of Intercity trains that require no changes). There is no way you can drive from Naples to Orvieto in less than 3.5 hours, not even if you rent a Ferrari 488GTB.
You won't need a car in Orvieto, since it is largely closed to traffic. If you need a car later, you can book one with Hertz which has an office in Orvieto.
