My husband and I are traveling with a Rick Steves tour in May 2023. Our tour ends in Naples, and we will be then traveling to Bari on the Adriatic Sea side. Has anyone traveled this route and which is the best form of transportation recommended??? Thank you in advance for your advice.

It depends on what your plans are. If you are touring Puglia, rent a car at the airport.
I think bus might be more direct if you just need to get to Bari.

The bus is faster since to go by train you need to change at Caserta.
The principal bus companies operating that route are below. I think they all depart from the Naples Metropark Bus Terminal next to the Napoli Central train station. You can also check one of the many bus consolidators like busbud, omio, busradar, etc. they all sell tickets with the bus companies below.
