Naples Museo Archeologico bag storage

We will arrive Naples by train and then taxi to the Museo Archeologico and check our baggage there. Can we leave the bags at the museo after our tour while we have lunch down the street and return for pick up? Our driver is meeting us at the museo for transport to Sorrento and hotel. Want to avoid pulling bags to the restaurant and back to museo. Plan to walk two blocks to Caffeteria Angela. Thanks
