I am looking for hotel recommendations in a safe location within walking distance to restaurants. We are staying one night in order to catch our flights back to USA in morning. We are 3 couples. One couple has 7:30 am flight. We will be using taxis to airport.

In December I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Art Resort Galleria Umberto. It’s on the fourth floor of the Galleria and the room was great. They served a wonderful breakfast and it’s convenient to restaurants, sites and transportation. The hotel is near the Piazza del Plebiscito and is in the Spagnoli Quarter. For a great dinner, make reservations at Osteria Il Gobetto. less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Either have the hotel arrange taxis or simply use the taxi stand on Via San Carlo.
