If you only had three days to spend in Naples in early November what would be your must go to places and why? What are the best day tours in Naples?
There is a great museum in Naples, I think it has a lot of items from Pompeii.
Also, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri (Blue Grotto) and Amalfi Coast.
Wrapped up three days in Naples today. Not my first visit but first for my traveling companion. I would recommend Capri, but it may be shut down in November as it was yesterday in February. And the funny thing was that there were a lot of tourists there but only a couple of restaurants and shops open. Chair lift to the top was closed, but they said it would be open the following day (on a Sunday). We went to Pompeii today and even though it rained a bit, there were still a lot of people there. If you go, get a guide for sure. After visiting Pompeii, go to the Archeological museum. I would also add Herculaneum and the veiled Christ which is not to be missed.
Naples is so interesting!
Very nice people and great food.
Maybe sign up for a walking tour or evening street food tour.
I like to walk the length of Spaccanapoli; the long, originally Roman street that splits the old city in half.
Many shops, markets, cafes, and street life to watch.
Don’t miss the little Museum with the Veiled Christ sculpture.
You won’t believe what you are seeing!
It's sometimes necessary to buy your ticket for the Cappella Sansevero in advance. That's where the Veiled Christ resides:

hey hey DJMac
years ago we took a day trip from rome to naples on the train. first time to italy and was determined to ride the train. it was great and a fun day. many people bypass this city, says it's dirty, gritty, garbage around. until you've been you have no room to speak.
we walked around some shopping alley, ate pizza, took a bus ride part way down the coast, sat in the square to people watch with our glass of wine and of course limoncello. there was italian cops in their tanks, holding uzis, keeping an eye out. so unusual for us but a site to see, saw some of that in rome too. take in what you see and savor the moments, felt so comfortable here.
a food tour, a city walking tour with guides helps a lot, learn the history, architecture and magic of naples, people are so passionate about it.

We were there two days ago and purchased tickets upon arrival as I did last time I was there.
