Need advice for shore excursion this July. can t decide what city to visit in Naples our choices are sorrento, capri and amalfi coast, positano or just capri for a day need help. I keep hearing amalfi is really beautiful and so is capri should I do both I have a one day excursion
so I want to make the best of it

Why not look at some of Steve's DVDs on these areas and see what appeals to you. I am sure you local library has copies. And you left out Pompeii unless you have been there before. Pompeii is very easy to do on your own from the Naples cruise port.

I would choose sorrento, capri and amalfi coast. Positano is part of the Amalfi coast. If you get to see all of them in one day then go for it. Capri is a separate island but Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello are all on the Amalfi coast and well worth seeing...especially Positano!
