Can anyone recommend an affordable hotel or b and b in Naples? I have only travelled in the north: any feedback on Naples in general would be very welcome. Thanks.

u didn't mention WHEN.i was there in may..[b-4 some garbage strike]..was gona stay 1 day, [RS hates the place]..it IS polluted, crowded, traffic INSANE..i stayed 5 days..it was the MOST italian place ; KILLER food, Great ppl..just wonderful...i stayed at a hostel..clean, safe, "down an alley"..along the way a lady had here caged birds outside her window for air..
i'll never forget naples..less cosmo then Rome, less "artsy" then florence...but it was ...real.
