Naples hotel suggestion in July--with A/C!

I'm helping relatives to plan their honeymoon to Italy in July. (Yes, I tried to convince them it will be sweltering and to wait for Sept., but no luck!) I would appreciate a suggestion for a good hotel, with A/C, that serves breakfast, and a is quick taxi ride from Napoli Central. Grazie!

We were there in July a couple of years ago. I can’t remember the hotel exact name but I loved the area by the “egg”. It is a traffic free zone on the water with hotels and restaurants. We had a balcony and a view of the water. And a/c.

One thing that surprised me was how little a/c was in public buildings. The archeological museum is not air conditioned. One afternoon we took an underground tour of Naples. It turned out to be very interesting but our goal at the moment was to escape the heat!

Linda,

Especially for a honeymoon, this would be a great choice - http://www.chiaiahotel.com/napoli/en . It's in a very nice part of the city, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff are wonderful (worth a splurge, IMO). Booking ASAP would be highly advisable!

The hotel is very close to the posh https://grancaffegambrinus.com/en/ and once they see the pastries there, they may not want to leave. It's nice to sit at their outdoor patio in the evening with a glass (or three) of Limoncello.

We liked the Palazzo Decumani, which others have mentioned here. Download the city's flat rate taxi rules for them, too.

I second the Palazza Decumani. a wonderful hotel in the historic city center.

Thanks, everyone, for the great Naples hotel suggestions. The couple will be coming from a hotel south of Naples, near/on the sea, so they want to experience the historic city center of Naples. I will make these suggestions! Grazie
