Naples Hotel Ideas

Hello &...HELP?!

Hi All! I'm Italian American; I speak some Italian and will be visiting Naples for the first time at the end of June!!! We'd like to stay at a nice hotel and we're just there for 2 nights so somewhere safe, modern, centrally located to sites like the Archeological Museum or Spaccanapoli, the Duomo, the veiled Christ...and PIZZA! Ha ha! I'd love to hear about any tried & true trusted places, fab-finds or hidden gem hotels. Any and all help, insights or ideas are truly appreciated! #KeepOnTraveling!

Thank you!

I love it but...they only have 1 room left and we need 2 😐.
I've reached out to them and they said they will notify me if a room cancels.
The search continues!!

We were just there and loved the Hotel Piazzo Bellini. Get a room with a view. Location terrific and breakfast good.

Also going to Naples in Summer '23! For Hotel Piazza Bellini, I'm traveling w two children 13 & 11. Are the "duplex" rooms with a sofa bed? Not shown exactly in pictures. I'm assuming it's safe since it's endorsed here. And is hotel close to metro/train stations to go further afield? Usual designations, Pompeii and Sorrento.
Thanks!

I can't speak to the hotel itself, but the location looks good to me. It's between the Capella Sansevero and the Archaeogical Museum and not a long walk to either of them. Going to the museum would be uphill. The hotel's between the Museo and Dante Metro stations. Dante's a bit closer, and it would be a downhill or flat walk from the hotel. That Metro line would take you to the train station (Napoli Centrale upstairs, Napoli Piazza Garibaldi downstairs) where you'd get the Circumvesuviana to Pompeii and Sorrento. That's the Garibaldi Metro Station.

My wife and I just stayed for two nights at Hotel Piazza Bellini and highly recommend it. The hotel is a short walk from the archaeology museum and Piazza Dante. Our room was nice and efficient with a large bathroom and we had booked a room with an outside terrace that allowed us to view the city and the bay. Hotel has an elevator and staff and breakfast were great. It was nice to have a quiet hotel to return to after walking around the busy energetic city that we fell in love with.

Remember that Italian-Americans tend not to pronounce final vowels, which is not "correct" Italian!

It is not entirely fair to provide this next link to a new user of this newsboard. It's important to understand that the title and some of the content is intended to be ironic or humorous. It's not a slam of Naples! I'd note that we had to wait 45 minutes in line for a lunch seat at Gino Sorbillo pizza. (Last week of May.) But it was worth the wait, even with all the "Certified Neapolitan Ovens" now around the USA.
