Naples home match against Juventus

Hello, my family and I are heading to Italy the first week in March and we are thinking of going to see Naples vs Juventus and we are hearing mixed reviews about going to the stadium. My family consists of my wife, daughter 12 years, son 14 years and I. I've been reading previous post from 2019 how some were saying it wasn’t safe to bring a family. We also heard that we should sit higher than lower if the fans start throwing stuff. Any advice for our family? We are Juventus fans, but we don’t have to show our support we can go just as fans of the game. Also, I do speak a little of Sicilian if that helps any.
Thank you

Don't wear anything that might suggest you are a Juve fan and you'll be fine. Try to buy tickets either in the Tribuna or Distinti sectors, not the curves. They are not only safer, but offer a better view. The Maradona stadium has also a Family sector under the Tribuna Nisida, but I'm not sure how you can buy seats in that sector (they offer discounts for children under 12 too).
Below is the seating plan.

For ticket purchase go here and click on "biglietti" (tickets)

Few people speak Sicilian nowadays, especially among the new generations, not even in Sicily, but if you mean that you speak Italian with a Sicilian accent, then it will be helpful.

Thank you so much for that information!!! I do have other questions, if you can help? Do you know whether they don’t sell tickets until a certain date before the game? I’m asking because I had found that link below (because everything I read said to buy tickets direct from the team/stadium), but under the ticket part of their website you can only buy tickets for the Napoli game on 1/14/24. Also, even when I click tickets for that event it asks me for a fan card code to “unlock” the event. Maybe that’s just for the game on 1/14/24 not sure if the same thing will happen with the Juventus game? Not sure if you have dealt with this or not.

Never done it myself, but for certain matches that are “at risk” as defined by the police authorities (I’m sure Napoli vs Juve would be) you need to get the card ahead of time. I think you can purchase it on TicketOne by clicking the Fidelity Card tab.
