WIll be arriving from Rome to Naples around 11AM, then catching the ferry to Sorrento around 3PM. Will be travelling with 2 kids (2.5 yr & 7 mths), wha recommendations would one have to grab some pizza and perhaps see a sight/shops? Also what does one recommend to do with luggage as we wouldn't want to haul this stuff around. Thank you for your help.

you can leave the luggage at the Deposito Bagagli at the station. You probably only have time for a lunch somewhere. If you are in for pizza the Antica Pizzeria da Michele is only about 15-20 min walk from the Napoli Centrale station. It's a famous one that my high school buddy from Naples recommends.
If you don't care to eat, talk to a taxi cab driver, and ask if they can take your family for a quick car tour of the city and drop you off at the Molo (dock) on time for the ferry. In that case you can probably negotiate a fixed amount rather than the meter. A Neapolitan taxi driver will always be able to rip you off anyhow so don't worry about the money, just establish the price before you go.
