Naples for 1 day from rome-is CAPODIMONTI museum a MUST?

We will be travelling by train to Naples for 1 day from rome.
Working on a day (9am to 7pm) itinerary in Dec.
Have to see the Caravaggios!
Most interested in the rick steves naples walk and want to see the port where my parents left for the US.
It seems Capodimonti is "out of the center" ------is it a MUST SEE?

No it’s not a must see. I can say that because I spent 4 night in Naples and did not go. Just not my top interest. If you love the things featured in the museum then by all means go. Otherwise you get the best sense of Naples by the walk, pizza, churches on the walk and the archeology museum.
