My husband and I want to take a day trip on a Sunday in April from Naples to Caiazzo so we can eat at Pepe In Grani. I know there aren’t trains but does anyone have any suggestions? We prefer not to rent a car in Naples 😬
Well,... you could take the train from Napoli Centrale to Caserta, 40-50 minutes then, an expensive taxi ride to Caiazzo another 20 minutes.
So...unless you've tried all the famous pizza places in Naples, I think this would be a waste of time.
Perhaps your hotel could arrange a private driver for u. I would think it would be quite costly.
The website has info about train schedules (or maybe it's a bus--regardless, the times work)

The problem with the bus is it runs just a few times a day. Have no idea of a Sunday schedule. It may be further reduced or non existent.
I believe that is a commuter train, but my translation skills are rusty--regardless, I would triple verify the schedule. The place does have Sunday afternoon hours, so this could be doable without breaking the bank on a private transfer.
Believe your right valadephia, part of the regional metropolitan line.
Edit: Runs every 4 hours from Metro Garibaldi.
