I'm coordinating a trip to Capri for my niece (named Capri). We are probably looking to spend more time than most on the island due to her connection. We are flying in and out of Naples and have 6 nights in Italy.
Suggestions for itineraries? Should we split between Capri and Naples? I think 1-2 small towns nearby would be fun. Train/Ferry travel is best. This is a multigenerational trip with my college-age niece, myself and my mom in her 70's. Unfortunately, hiking isn't an option.
TIA
Welcome!
You will need to stay in Naples night before departure so be sure to allow for that
6 nights-I’d probably spend 4 on Capri( at most) and 2 in Naples at end
Month of Year? Very important.
Extensive paved walking is essential on Capri. Much of the island is pedestrianized. Make sure you learn how your luggage is getting to the hotel.

Oh yeah...that would be good information to have! Planning to be there in May...thanks
Editing, per your response...(When are you planning to go? Time of year will be a big consideration).
Capri will be very crowded in May, so take that into consideration for planning. Buses will be packed; taxis will be expensive; walking hills and stairs cannot be avoided, if that is a concern. Ferries should be OK, but realize schedules can be affected by weather.
Consider Sorrento as a stop - touristy, but we really liked it and there is a ferry to Capri, and train/bus to Naples, etc.
