We're heading to Sardinia for a tour in October 2026 and thinking about a couple of days in Naples area or another coastal area before tour starts. Already did the RS Southern Italy tour and saw Pompeii and other major sites in Naples area.
Thinking about a couple of days in seaside area near Naples (been to Amalfi).

Are you looking for suggestions within Naples or ??? Since Sardinia is very much about nature, are you looking for city time before the tour, or for less relaxed places near Naples. But if it’s just two days, Naples would be your best bet.

Sorrentine coast might be my pick. You could choose a hotel on the sea or an agriturismo.
But just because you've been to Amalfi, did you see the other towns? Ravello? Furore?
Cetara? Very different experience seeing these on a day trip and staying there for a few days.
