Four active adults seeking Naples and Rome hotels recommendation. We are arriving from Milano Linate to Naples Capodichino International the week after Xmas, We will be visiting Pompeii (tickets for Arch park has been purchased) and Naples then take train to Rome. We have been looking at Naples, UNA Hotels Napoli, Eurostars Hotel Excelsior and Starhotels Terminus. Is Starhotels Terminus a save neighborhood save to stay in given it is very close to train station?
We are considering Centro Storico, Monti or Trastervere neighborhoods. Our primary interests in Rome are historical sights, two or three Musuems/galleries and foods. Much appreciated if you can recommend one or two Roman restaurants. We had eaten in La Taverna dei Fori few years ago. Vatican tickets have been purchased (also visiting Sistine Chapel afterward). will get Colosseum tickets next when open for sale (Plan to go Jan 2nd). Thank you for your time to response.
