Check the schedule of the bus from the airport to Salerno operated by SITA.

In Salerno train station, you can get a bus to Amalfi and then another bus to Positano, or better, take a ferry straight to Positano from the ferry port a short walk away.

The easiest way is to book a car direct from the airport to Positano. Of course, that won't be cheap (perhaps €120-150, based on what I've read here), but you didn't ask for cheap. For three novice travelers, it may be worth it.
Not too difficult would be the direct bus from Naples airport to Sorrento, followed by the bus from Sorrento to Positano. This is probably the most inexpensive way as well. However, Positano is very hilly, and depending on where your accommodation is in relation to the bus stops (Positano has two, one at the top of town and one lower down), you could have a substantial hike with your luggage.
