Going to spend the first 3 nights in Capris upon our arrival from the US to Milan onto Naples. Will be staying in Sorrento for 3 nights after Capris before heading up to Portofino and Lake Como (2 weeks in total). Looking for suggestions re: transport from Naples airport to Capris and hotel suggestions in Capris. Thanks!!

CAPRI- take taxi from airport to port. Take whichever type of ferry fits your schedule. Taxis have set rates to various locations including luggage. Check what the fare is and demand that price. Or take the airport Alibus Airport airport shuttle that stops at both docks where ferries to Capri leave from. We took slow ferry, no problems.
Hotel- La Minerva. It is one of our most favorite hotels anywhere.

Not knowing what time you arrive NAP, you might be better off traveling to Sorrento first.

And just so you know, Capri is not pronounced like the pants. It's Kah-pri, with the accent on the first syllable, not Ca-pree. It's also the home of the Caprese salad, with the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
