Is it true that the airport in Naples is a nightmare?

Many trips through the Naples airport and I have not found it to be a nightmare.

I flew Naples-Milan Malpensa this past summer and it was very easy. Not the prettiest airport, but very functional and clean. Very easy bag drop and security.
