We have not been to the Amalfi coast since 2006, but plan to go again with our daughter and granddaughter next year.
I do have a 2009 RS Italy book and just noticed there is a bus direct to Sorrento from the Airport called Curreri.
Does anyone know if this bus still in operation?

It has recently been in operation but may not be at the moment given the COVID-!9 situation in Italy. I just tried to click into the website and can't get it to come up but will try again later! :O)

Shelley, when your local libraries reopen, see if you can find a newer book. There have been quite a few changes in the last 11 years!
We tried to use the Curreri a few years ago from the Naples airport to Sorrento, and it didn't seem to be running to schedule. We gave up waiting for it and took the tram into town, then the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento.
We did, however, use the Curreri later that trip for a daytrip into Naples. It was clean, comfortable, and fast.

At least it will give you a rough idea about transport.
Of course schedules may be different when the world re-opens.
