Naples - a 3 night/4 day itinerary?

We might 'squeeze' in a 4 day weekend from Florence. Thursday night through Sunday. I am interested in an itinerary in Naples. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There's SO much to see in this city, the list is endless. No matter your interests, you'll find it here. Art, Museums, Archeological sites and Churches. It's vibrant, chaotic and has some of the friendliest people in Italy.

Ercolano a short 16 minutes by the Circumvesuvian, Pompeii Scavi is 40 minutes. Paestum is a little over an hour by regular train.

Here are some of my favorites in the city center starting at the port area. The Alibus will connect from the train station to this area, then a 15 minute stroll to Castle del Ovo, Palazzo Reale, Galleria Umberto, you can take the funicular up to Museo Capodimonte, bus to Castle Sant'Elmo. Any of these combined would provide a great day.

Another day could be this combo.
Archeological Museum, cross the street thru the Galleria to Piazza Bellini. Then take Via del Tribunali, original Napoli Pizza on this street, try Sorbillo. Then backtrack a block turn left on Via Nilo two blocks to Capella Sansevero.

These should more than fill your days. If you are including Pompeii or Ercolano you might get good use from this card.
The Campania Arte card 3 day tutti regione, cost is €32 covers 2-3 free sites plus 50% off any other sites you can manage to see in 3 days.
It also covers transportation, metro, buses, funiculars and Circumvesuvian. It would basically pay for itself if you took the metro or bus to the Circumvesuvian, the train to Pompeii and the Archeological Museum.

Want a break from the city? Capri is easy by ferry, as is Sorrento. Or take the train to Reggio Caserta, built to rival Versailles. Included in the arte card.
