I love this site! So anyways looking for info from Naples to amalfi one day overnight trip then the best transport back up to Rome

Mary, Are you referring to travel from Naples to the town of Amalfi, or just somewhere on the Amalfi Coast? The easiest and quickest method of transport from Naples to Rome would be the Freccia fast trains.
