Nanny and Italian lessons for kiddos

We plan to spend a month in the Lucca area in July, we are able to work remotely but need to find childcare for our kiddos (7, 4 & 4) for 5-6 hours a day while we work. Any recommendations on a nanny service to watch the kiddos and possibly give Italian language lessons as well.

Also the location is not set in stone but Lucca was recommended based on being family friendly and it’s proximity to the ocean as well as easy day trips to surrounding villages. If anyone has other location recommendations send them our way…. :)

Thanks in advance!

I’ve read a few articles regarding people who plan to work remotely running into issues regarding work and visas in some countries. No idea if this will impact you in your situation, but if you haven’t already checked this out, you may want to do so.

You could reach out to an international school or daycare based in Italy and ask for referrals or short-term care for your kids.

Italia Kids has a list of Italian nanny services.

Ciao Bambino is a family travel planning service that could be of help arranging a nanny or other aspects of your month.

I hope you find fantastic care for your family and have a great trip!

Thank you for the responses. We booked a villa through Marriott and have asked for sitter recommendations but they aren’t terribly responsive.

I won’t have any issues with working part time for a few weeks so no issues there.

Thank you for the recommendations, I have a call into ciao bambino.

Thank you everyone!!!
