MXP Milan airport to Cremona timing

I'm celebrating 80 doing a cycle tour in Emilia Romagna region. I have researched getting from the airport to Milano Centrale etc. and hoping to get a direct train to Cremona . My flight arrives at 12:35 p.m. the end of August. How much time should I allow to make a train on time...getting off the plane, finding my luggage, checking for train track departure, buying a ticket (unless I purchase ahead of time) etc. Given Covid it has been a while since I've traveled internationally, so want to be able to handle everything with as little anxiety as possible. How much approximate time will it take to 1. get luggage, go thru customs, locate Malpensa Express.2. take Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale...3. Find platform and be in time for the train.

I realize there is no exact answer, I would just like an approximate time to make the train on time! Thanks for any help!

At least 1 hour on average from gate to Malpensa station (including passport control and baggage claim plus long walk).
15 minutes to buy tickets and go to platform for boarding
From zero up to 30 minutes for Malpensa Express train departure.
Almost 60 minutes train journey from Malpensa to Centrale.
Approximately 15 minutes to walk from arrival platform to Cremona train platform after figuring out the platform.

So approximately 3 hours in total from gate arrival to Centrale platform to Cremona.

Thanks, seems similar to my thoughts…the trains I saw as a possibility were within an hour of each other..good timing I’d make the 1st one..which would be 3h 30 m, but there’s another the next hour. I’ll brush up on some Italian phrases, lol..and see what the schedules are the end of May.

According to the current schedule, the first single connection itinerary is at 3:07 pm and gets to Cremona at 5:28 pm. There is also a train at 3:37 pm that gets you there by 6:21 pm. Early trains have multiple connections and do not get you there much earlier. These are regional trains, so the price is fixed at 20.70 EUR. Note that the schedule will be updated as of June 11, so you will not see anything beyond that date until the update is completed, but they should not change much, if at all.
