Has anyone attended the Musica in Maschera: Opera and Ballet. We will be in Venice February 7-10 and are thinking about going to this event. Is it difficult to get tickets on the day of an event? How far is it from Pensione Guerrato? Any other recommendations on our 3 day visit to Venice in February?

We went to an opera at Musica Palazzo. It was in an old palace and they allow about 80 people to attend and the rooms are lit by candlelight. I emailed a reservation (no CC required) before we left for Venice. Our hotel had information and a map of the location. I think we paid in cash upon arrival. I am not familiar with the one you listed. I think you can easily get tickets to MP the day of the event.

I have not heard of it but, assuming that you're staying at Guerrato, you could ask them what they know about it. The people at Guerrato are really great.
