Musica a Palazzo in Venice

Has anyone attended the opera performance here? It seems to have great reviews.

We attended a performance last year Mar 2011. We saw La Traviata and had a very pleasant experience. For this opera, there were 3 performers, basically, Violetta/Alfredo/Germont pere. It was collapsed into 3 acts, each in a different room. The music was piano, violin and a bass. The edits in the music was very skillfully done so it you got the story and the big points without the chorus or minor characters. The singers were very good. The ability to be close to them was wonderful for this opera. In the opening party scene, Violetta interacted with the audience as if we were the guests at her party. Arrive early to stand in line to get good seats for the first act of whichever opera you can attend. After that, it is a mad dash during 'intermission' to the next performance space for a seat. Definitely give them a try.
