Florence Museum Reservations Necessary in January?

We're making a VERY impromptu trip to Florence early next week. Is it necessary to reserve admission to museums, eg Palazzo Vecchio and some churches, eg Cappella Brancacci midweek in January? Most likely we'll have the Firenze card, but I need to do some math to see if its worthwhile (and worth skipping lines). We spent lots of time in the Uffizi years ago, so thats not on the list this time, but the Academia is if that makes a difference.

There’s a big menswear trade show (Pitti Uomini) in Florence Jan 13-16 which I’ve read can make restaurants busy, but it sounds like you’ll be in and out before that starts. On Saturday I checked the Accademia website and there were tickets available for the next day in the late afternoon. I’ll be in Florence next week too and the only ticket we bought in advance is for the very special Beato Angelico exhibit at Palazzo Strozzi. We probably will call restaurants early in the day to book dinner that evening (we don’t have any must-do restaurants). Enjoy your visit!
