Museum Reservations in March

Does anyone have experience with Florence museums in March (10th-20th)? I would like to keep a fluid itinerary and not be locked into specific dates. However, if I don't make reservations in advance will I be dealing with lines and crowds? Thanks! Cynthia

You can certainly make reservations a day before, or day of, and I think March would be light enough to allow that. Otherwise early in the day lines are often light.
