I have phoned the Academia and Uffizi in Florence reservations lines in Florence and the Doge's Palace in Venice. For all these calls, all I have is reservation numbers even though I paid for the Doge's Palace tour. Is this the way it works? Is it reliable, I hope? Grazie, Marge

I was only in Rome & Venice, so all I did was Dodges out of your list and I purchased the secret interary tour online beforehand and showed up with the printed papers, it says to bring id and we had our passports but they never even asked for them...I would bring them anyway just to be safe. Hope I helped!!

Another question for you! Would you recommend the secret tour of the Doges Palace. That is something I have not purchased yet and I didn't know if it was worth it. What is your opinion? Thanks!

We really liked the secret Itineraries tour. There were a lot of really interesting rooms and passageways to see. We will probably do it again this fall when we are there. Donna
