For Venice, Florence, and Rome, is it possible to do a timed entry when purchasing a general museum pass, or is that done separately from the pass purchase? TY

Hi, I have recently booked time entries in Venice and Florence. I decided against one of the general passes in Venice. Cuz only have 2 days. I will mostly wander. Booked directly on the website for the secret itineraries tour of the Doges Palace and got a timed entry. Easy. I don’t see how to book timed entry with the Venice passes but must admit I didn’t check that hard . Booked the Basilica timed with Palas d’Oro [sic] directly as well.
In Florence you can get timed entries with the Firenze card BUT you must call a given number on the Firenze website to obtain a priority access code for at least Uffizi and l’Accademia (David). I called successfully at 3 a.m CDT via Skype landline call $4 for a month in Italy. Haven’t actually purchased Firenze card yet but will do so soon as I fly in 4 weeks. If you search Forum for the Florence pass you can find very helpful detailed explanations of what you should do. Good luck 🍀
