Dumb question for the day: is the combo museum pass (particularly the one for the Correr and Doge's museums) restricted to being used only on the day it's purchased? Must both sites be visited on the same day? The RS Italy book info only mentions time frames for a couple of the more complex passes.

Need not be the same day. You get one single entry to each within 3 months: http://palazzoducale.visitmuve.it/en/pianifica-la-tua-visita/tickets/.

was there a few days ago and we bought this combo ticket. the ticket is good for 3 months, but can only be used once for both the correr museum and doge's palace. highly recommend doge's!
