Museum entry on International Women's Day

Hi,

I am planning a trip to Italy in March. I will be in Florence on International Women's Day March 8th. I have read that all the National Museums grant free admission to women on this day.

Can I buy tickets for March 8 in advance for free? Can I buy priority access tickets?

Are museums busier than usual on this day?

If I buy regular tickets in advance for this day, would I be refunded? Or should I visit museums on another day?

You mean a ticket that lets you skip the security line? Those do not exist, regardless of what some tour-companies and ticket re-sellers want tourists to believe.

Regarding your other questions, I am afraid the answer is: "It depends on the Museum"
