Museum and Crypt of Capuchins

Tried finding information on line, but the website was in Italian.
For those of you that have toured this, can you book the tour/tickets ahead of time?

I have been there a couple of times and there was never a need to book tickets in advance. Each time i have been there in May there may have been 10 other people.

However, Walks Of Italy has what looks like a great tour which includes the Capuchin Crypt, San Clemente, and the Catacomb of Santa Priscilla, that i might take advantage of next time I am there.

I saw that tour and it looks really cool. The only day we would be able to fit it in is at 2:15 PM and that morning we have 10AM tickes for the Vatican, so it may be too much for the day.

The Crypt is never terribly crowded, even in high season. We went at the end of the day in early August and it was uncrowded. A visit here would be quite easy to fit in at the end of the day after seeing the Vatican. You can easily see everything quite thoroughly in under 30 - 45 minutes.

I did that Walks of Italy tour in Oct 2013, very good. Pretty small group as I remember, and we traveled between the three sites by bus, so very quick and convenient, and we never got lost! Actually, I started that day very early with the Walks of Italy Pristine Sistine Tour, then left the Vatican at about 12:30 pm and walked all the way to the next tour, grabbing a sandwich on the way. Quite a long and full day. It might be tough with a 10 am entry into the Vatican Museum, but you probably could make it if you went into St. Peter's before the Vatican Museum, or on another day, and grabbed a taxi from the Vatican to the afternoon tour. Depends a little on what month and what day, how many people you are and how quick and mobile you are, how crowded it will be in the Vatican Museum, and how much time you like to spend in big crowded museums.
