Museo Cappella Sansevero

My Mom and I are flying into Naples in October (landing @ 8:10am). Just staying for one night before moving onto our next destination. I know it is not enough time but I did this so we can get just a taste of the area plus once I found about the Veiled Christ I knew it was something my Mom would want to see. Though I know it is not ideal to be indoors on arrival day there really is no option. With that said should we hold off on booking "skip the line" tickets or should I book the "skip the line" tickets but do so for much later in the day (around 3/4pm).

Thank you,

Lidia

This chapel is small, so it doesn't take long to see. If you can commit to staying awake, then I think you can commit to the afternoon visit.

I've visited the chapel twice, both times in the fall, and never saw a line to buy tickets or to enter. Maybe someone who has visited recently can comment on whether that's changed.

I was there two years ago in February in the afternoon and there was a wait - I don't remember if it was to buy tickets or to enter. It's pretty small and it was pretty crowded.

We visited the chapel last Octoer and there was no line for tickets when we went in the late afternoon. It is small but I don’t recall it being particularily crowded.

We were there end of September at mid-day and there was no line and only a few people inside. We really enjoyed the “Veiled Christ “ , very impressive!
