It's a pretty compact area. You should be able to visit them all. Frankly, our highlight in Murano was a gelato.
Burano is worth the effort to visit. We did not think that Murano was.

My friend and I visited Murano last May on RS Tour. My 2nd visit. While waiting for the ferry, we were offered a free round trip to watch the artisans create these beautiful pieces. We were under no obligation to purchase items, only to understand the detail and skill required and could return to the mainland at any time.
I'm a huge fan of artisans and make an effort to seek them out on my trips. I intended to purchase a set of glasses on this visit. Once I selected the items, I was given an additional glass as a gift for watching and a small glass horse. I did not feel pressured to purchase and asked numerous questions of the creations.
This Murano visit was the most memorable time of my tour!

I did not see any glass that resembled what my aunt brought back from 1959
There are many, many shops and studios on Murano. I have over 30 Glass pins on my map for that island. There are additional shops (not glassblowing studios) in Venice proper, the higher-end ones mostly being in the area around San Marco. I haven't been to any of them, so I can't provide a recommendation.
You may find some lists of studios and galleries by Googling.
We think glassware by Carlo Moretti is pretty special. Also not cheap, our glasses are about 100 euro per, but the set of six are lovely.

Made on Murano, sold in San Marco, Venice.
I like to wander in the very small Murano shops where you can often watch the owners making the glass for pendants and earrings. They usually want cash, and I discovered - the wrong way- that the atm by the Coop store is one of the machines which charges very high fees. I love what I bought, and truly enjoyed interacting with the artesian , but I paid a hefty fee to access that atm.
I also enjoy the free motorboat ride from many of the hotels to Murano. I have never felt pressured to buy in the expensive, but beautiful store. I have fallen in love with unique designs that I later found copied in the smaller shops.
I shop, and my husband drinks wine along the waterfront. Everyone is happy!
This craftsman is well worth visiting. We have some of his honey bees, we gave him a jar of our honey.

And a bit more detail, with his location.

Wow. Mike, I came here to find out the same thing and not one post answered your original question.
Does anyone have a recommended specific location for an authentic glass maker on "Murano?"
Not gelato, not Venice glass shop, not telling us to just google it, not your 1959 aunt......
welcome to the Forums, munkjail
One of the ways a person might learn of a good glass store (or gelato shop, etc.), visit it and be able to recommend it to others is by reading an article online. Someone who has written an article on the topic of Venetian glass has probably spent a lot more time in glass shops than a random member of this forum.
An advantage of reading an article about Venetian glass is that it will probably include information about how Venetian products are labeled and whether those labels can be relied on. (I don't know the answer to those questions.)
I'm sure if folks who saw this inquiry had information to share, they would have done so.
Thank you ALL for your help and replies!

Good place to start. This site also has other info on Venetian artistry.
