I have a 2012 RS book which I bought in the past year. (I think RS books are printed every other year.) It appears some of the data is already going out of date. I don't want to buy another book. Question: The Venice Museum Pass seems to offer only one pass for a multitude of Museums. There is a family pass where the first member pays full price and the others pay reduced prices. In RS book, there is a SAN MARCO MUSEUM PLUS ticket which is lower cost and has fewer museums included in it. I would like to buy the reduced rate pass over the complete Museum Pass. Does this pass still exist? Will I have to buy the full-priced family pass instead?

For the most popular places, RS updates his books every year (you can tell if it has the year in the title, as Venice does). The 2014 Venice is now available, so you may want to get it (a small price compared to the cost of your trip). If you aren't getting the new book, look at his guidebook updates.
